MPL SG: Season 6 Regular Season Starts This Weekend, Venue And Schedule Released!

•    Eight of Singapore's best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) teams will compete for the SG$100,000 prize pool and a place in the M5 World Championship.
•    The MPL SG Season 6 Regular Season will run each weekend from 9 to 30 September.
•    Pre-registration tickets have sold out, but fans are welcome to walk in – admittance is completely free and based on a first-come-first-served basis each week – or tune in to the livestream broadcasts.

Season 6 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Singapore (MPL SG) Regular Season kicks off this weekend! Eight of Singapore's best Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) teams will compete across four weekends from 9 to 30 September for a shot at the SG$100,000 prize pool and the right to represent Singapore at the M5 World Championship. MPL SG is organised by MOONTON Games and Zenway Productions and is Singapore's only standalone pro esports league. 

All of the Regular Season games will take place at the Zenway Studios esports arena located at 53 Ubi Ave, #05-02, Singapore 408934. Pre-registration tickets to the event have sold out, but fans are welcome to walk in – admittance is completely free and based on a first-come-first-served basis. Attendees will stand the chance to win in-game items, such as epic skins.

Fans can also tune in to the action online; all of the matches will be livestreamed on the official MPL SG Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok channels.

Match Schedule & Highlights

The Regular Season will follow a single round-robin format, with the eight teams to compete in Best-of-Three (BO3) matches. All eight teams will then proceed to the Playoffs, participating in a double elimination tournament format, where the top four teams in the Regular Season point rankings will be seeded into the Upper Bracket, while the bottom four teams will be seeded into the Lower Bracket. 

Alchemy SG and Homebois SG kick the season off at 10:00am GMT+8 on 9 September in what promises to be an intriguing encounter between two teams with huge points to prove. MPL SG fans will recognise Alchemy SG after the team suffered relegation in Season 5. Their immediate return to the league via the Open Qualifiers highlights their abilities and mental fortitude – as they seek revenge for last season. In contrast, league newcomers, Homebois SG, will be an enigma to many MPL SG fans depite the HomeBois brand having a fearsome reputation across the border, where they are one of the strongest teams in MPL Malaysia. 

RSG SG's 3:00pm match against Team Flash will be the highlight of Week 1, being a rematch of the Season 5 Finals, where RSG SG ran out 4-1 winners. With Team Flash having strengthened heavily in the off-season by bringing in Filipino Jungler, Jaymark "Hadess" Aaron Thomas Lazaro, RSG SG are expected to have a tougher time this encounter.
