Schedule & Full Teams Revealed

Singapore's top eight MLBB teams have been seeded in the Season 6 Playoffs based on their final standings from the Regular Season.

The Playoffs will adopt a hybrid elimination bracket, where the first two rounds – between the bottom four teams from the Regular Season – will follow a single elimination format, while the rest of the rounds will follow a double elimination format. All the matches will be played in a Best-of-Three (BO3) format, except for the Lower Bracket Finals and Upper Bracket Finals – which will have a Best-of-Five (BO5) format – and the Grand Finals – which will have a Best-of-Seven (BO7) format.

The first match of the Playoffs will take place on Friday, 20 October, at 10am GMT+8 – between EVIL (Regular Season 5th-place) and Alchemy SG (Regular Season 8th-place) in the Lower Bracket, Round 1. MPL SG veterans, EVIL, will favour this match-up against Season 6 debutants, Alchemy SG, who lost every one of the seven matches in the Regular Season. Vanguard SG (Regular Season 6th-place) will take on Stellark SG (Regular Season 7th-place) at 12:30pm in the other Lower Bracket, Round 1 match.

The marquee matches of Day 1 will follow, with Team Flash (Regular Season 1st-place) going up against Bleed Esports (Regular Season 4th-place). There will be plenty of eyes on Filipino players, Jaymark "Hadess" Lazaro from Team Flash, as well as Kiel "Kielvj" Cruzem and Jeff "S4gitnu" S.Subang from Bleed Esports, with all three players having put in strong performances when both teams clashed in the Regular Season. Will Team Flash come out on top again?

The final match of Day 1 will be between defending champion, RSG SG (Regular Season 2nd-place), and Homebois SG (Regular Season 3rd-place). Back-to-back-to-back MPL SG champion, RSG SG, will have their eye on a fourth consecutive championship victory, but will first need to overcome dark horses, Homebois SG. Homebois SG will be feeling the pressure, having witnessed their MLBB Professional League Malaysia (MPL MY) counterparts, HomeBois, secure their first-ever title on 8 October.

MPL SG Continues To Grow In Season 6

The Season 6 Playoffs follows a record-breaking Regular Season, which saw online viewership reach all-time highs. According to Esports Charts, the Season 6 Regular Season had 12,585 Peak Concurrent Viewers (PCV), the highest of any Regular Season in MPL SG history. A total of four matches exceeded last season's most-watched match of Season 5, which was 7,600 PCV during the Grand Finals, reflecting MPL SG's season-on-season growth.
