13 Jul 2023

Thrice-champion Yeo “Diablo” Wee Lun dares all-comers to face him and the rest of RSG SG in Singapore's only standalone professional esports league. Register your team before 3 August.

Singapore's only standalone pro esports league is back! MOONTON Games and Zenway Productions have jointly announced the return of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Singapore for its sixth season, commencing 5 August. Singapore's top teams will compete for a prize pool of SG$100,000 and the right to represent the nation at bigger international tournaments. This will include the M5 World Championship taking place from November in the Philippines, where teams will battle fiercely for a slice of the US$900,000 (SG$1,200,000) pot. With such high stakes, expect action and drama aplenty.

The gamesmanship begins

Reigning champion Yeo “Diablo” Wee Lun has stoked the flames by daring Mobile Legends:  Bang Bang players to take his team on. RSG SG's Team Captain led his team to a third  straight MPL Singapore title during Season 5 in April.

"It's been three seasons, but I'm still the reigning champ. Come and take down my Badang if you dare," Diablo said.

Meta shake-up an opportunity for challengers

Season 6 will feature the meta-disrupting changes from project NEXT. This includes the highly anticipated overhaul of the emblem system, which allows players the flexibility to customise their hero talents to better suit their playstyle. As the first official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament to feature these changes, Season 6 will present challengers to RSG's throne the unique opportunity to deploy never-before-seen strategies and gameplay.

All-comers are welcome

As with previous seasons, the MPL Singapore will be open to all comers—both esports aspirants and pros alike. Players will need to form teams of at least six (five players and one substitute) to register for the Qualifiers, which will take place from 5-6 August with a double elimination bracket format. The top two teams will progress to the Regular Season of MPL Singapore Season 6, where they will compete against Singapore's top pro teams from MPL Singapore Season 5. This will be followed by the Playoffs, where the top teams will be seeded based on their ranking in the Regular Season, and where they will play in a double elimination bracket format for the ultimate glory.

Teams can register now at https://register.mplsg.gg/149/participation_form. Registration closes on 3 August, 11:59 PM (GMT+8).
